Na zijn studie Fiscale Economie is Daan vanaf 2007 actief in de financiële wereld. Zijn fiscaal-juridische studieachtergrond en jarenlange ervaring zorgt ervoor dat hij een uitstekende sparringspartner is voor ondernemers, zowel zzp’er als directeur-grootaandeelhouders (DGA). Daan haalt plezier uit zijn werk bij Viisi door het opbouwen van kennis, de samenwerking met zijn cliënten en het coachen van collega’s.
Daan woont samen met zijn vriendin Hannah en zoon Luuk in Haarlem in een koopwoning. In het verleden heeft hij fanatiek gehockeyd in het eerste van Veni Vidi Vici te Amsterdam en nu hockeyt hij bij de veteranen A van Rood Wit. Daarnaast fietst hij graag op zijn racefiets. Samen met zijn vriendin maakte hij fietstochten naar Rome en Parijs.
